Requirements

For the safety and security of all dogs, each owner is required to register their pet in accordance with By-Law 2021-072 (Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes). Please complete this form and provide all appropriate supporting documents and applicable fees.

Please note that as of March 31, 2024, cat licensing will not be available due to the temporary hiatus of the Stray and Feral Cat Pilot Program.

Penalties

Failure to maintain registration is contrary to law and may result in the imposition of fines and/or penalties.
